Elohovi's services also include training courses in life and stress control, self-knowledge and self mastery, as well as exciting wilderness and nature excursions.
The training courses can be made a part of staff recreational days or training events.
Elohovi provides tailored training packages where the training session can last for a day or for several days, or just for a few hours.
A relaxing walk in the beautiful scenery of the Nuuksio National Park finishes a challenging day of training or conferencing perfectly. Elohovi tailors wilderness excursions to meet your wishes; they can include for example hiking, fishing, training in wilderness skills or simply enjoying the evening in a cosy hut.
Tailored excursions can be used as part of your meeting and training schedule, as well as be included in recreational days and incentive trips. They can be part of the programme of birthday celebrations, hen/stag parties or farewell parties, and are also suitable for foreign visitors or guests enjoying a day at Elohovi.
Wilderness excursion
An experienced wilderness guide takes the group out into the wild in Nuuksio National Park. At dusk the excursion can be a serene, silent hike, lit by lanterns. During wintertime you can hike using snow shoes and hiking sticks.
Combined wilderness and competition excursion
Can include e.g. tasks involving knowledge of nature or first aid as well as light hiking, enjoying the scents and scenery of the national park. Contact the head guide beforehand to have the tasks organised.
Mushroom picking
This trip takes you amidst the autumn colours of the forest where you learn to identify and pick edible mushrooms. An outing in the fresh autumn air may reward you in abundance!
Kota dinner
Enjoy the dinner in the Kota, the Lappish-style hut by the lake. Salmon and potatoes prepared over the open fire, two potato fillings and two types of salad. The dinner is served on wooden splints.

E.g. stick gymnastics or exercises for neck and shoulders.
Floating and swimming in a rescue suit
Takes a bit of daring and offers a chance to overcome your fears. Best experienced in an ice hole! Provides an experience to remember.
Moments of Laughter and laughter yoga
Spice up your everyday life with humour, let yourself loose on joy! See how smiles, humour and laughter influence individuals and social interaction. Prepare for subtle giggling and hearty guffawing following the lead of our instructor! The yoga is based on effective breathing exercises and playful laughter exercises. The participants can experience the relaxing effects of laughing first-hand.
Relaxing sleep
The course provides basic information about the factors influencing sleep and everyday coping. The aim is to reduce stress-induced tiredness, learn to be sensitive to one's body's needs and find new tools for coping.
Chi Kung – energy and well-being the Chinese way
Easy-to-learn slow movements, silence exercises and self-acupressure. Your body will relax, your ability to concentrate improve and you will feel calmer.
Resources for coping
Relax, get healthier and get more energy by releasing tension in your body. These easy exercises are suitable for everybody, they calm your mind and give you inner strength.
Troubadour
Accordion music and dancing at the outdoor dancing platform during summertime; sing-along songs at the hut, accompanied by our troubadour, all year round.
